Hi Helge,

I've been out of town for about a week, but I should have your order 
shipped in the next day or two.  In fact, I have a few orders to get out 
this week.

If someone in the US were to scan the book into PDF format and send it 
to you without permission of Stachiw's family, that would qualify as 
distribution of an unauthorized copy and violate Stachiw's copyright.   
I know it would be an easy matter for Stachiw's family to file suit 
against any US source of the PDF, and under US law Stachiw's family 
could be awarded statutory damages up to $110,000 plus legal fees 
without any requirement to prove actual damages.

As I replied to someone else recently on this same topic, even if an 
international agreement didn't exist between the US and other countries, 
Dr. Stachiw and his surviving family have been very good friends to 
PSUBS providing us with excellent discounts for the book and speaking to 
us at the 2007 convention.  I'd hate for them to discover a topic like 
this one and assume that we allow our online resources to be used for 
solicitation of unauthorized copies of Dr. Stachiw's excellent book.
