Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Software



I use Exel spreadsheets for: 

- calculate the cost (one or two time during the project)
- count the weights, volumes and graphity and stability in x,y and z axis (monthly)
- tracking the cost (daily)
- notice the adresses of supplier and crew members (occasionaly)

Use a 20 years old esay to handle 2D CAD programm for all drawings, electric diagramms, speed curves etc. 
(about every second day.)

Use the written rules from ABS and Germanischer Lloyds for pressure hull  and window calculations. 

But still most important is a pen, a paper and a pocket calculator. 

A nice libary with relate books is helpful and last but not least the internet and Psubs.
