Schwertwal with 32 knot at 18 ts at 800 hp is 44,4 hp per ts
V80 with 30 knot at 70 ts at 2500 hp is 35,7 hp per ts.
If we go with a first quick shoot with 40 hp per ts you need for your 50ts sub around 2000 hp
or around 1500 kw and on a teardrop hull a counter rotating prop system.
My lead acid batt have around 26 kg weight per 1 kwh power capacity so for 1 hour at 30 knots
you need about 1500 x 26 = 39 ts of battery for just 360K USD, means you have still 11 ts for the shell the electric motor and all of the equipment.
If you go for 30 knots and a half hour full speed you need 19,5 ts of battery and 30,5 ts remains. A more realistic figure. And just 180K-USD
And maybe the needed anti-colison sonar for that speed cost more that the batterys..
What is the reason for that high speed?
My 57ts sub runs abt. 4-5 knots on 40 kw electric power for around 6-8 hours.
A picture /drawing would be nice..
