To all: I have just completed the work on my first psub chiller or air conditioner and have started its testing. Preliminary results indicate this will soon be a must have item for anyone working in areas of warm climate or intense sun light. The final testing and any further modifications will be performed by Vance and Frank in Florida. This fine tweaking is necessary to ensure the units others build by this example will perform as best as can be designed. Half way listening because your sure you haven't the room?...This thing can operate with a water and ice reservoir as small as a gallon milk jug and can really put out some cool air! The cooler shown on the projects page is shown atop a sizable igloo ice chest but we will be trying a 5 gallon paint bucket as a possible standard future configuration. (Vance's idea) It is also only the actual heat transfer unit (pump,fan, and radiator) that will be shipped to Florida. I will be taking the final project photos tonight and will be adding them to the projects page under "submarine chiller" for anyone interested.
