  Hi Phil:
Thanks, Vance kindly pointed out my faux
  pas.
I believe the Stella Maris was a "mistake" also.
It was supposed to be sunk to
recreational scuba diving depth but ended up at
  450ft.
I have been checking out the Curacao web site for
  updates but as you say,
I think they're having too much fun
  diving.
With dive descriptions like you've given it probably wouldn't take too much to

convince the Psub crowd to leave their
boats at home & go to Curacao
  for the
  next convention.
  Regards Alan

    Hi, Alan:
Errr, that was actually Aquarius ('AQ')
arriving in Curacao for the pilot training and site familiarisation dives a
year and a half ago - tbut, they are diving their brains out with the new
'Curasub' - multiple dives every day. I don't think the 'SubStation Curacao'
website is keeping up but their u/w photog Barry Brown sent us some great
shots - I'll be heading down there in the next couple of weeks, strictly
(ahem)business, of course. May have to do a couple of dives on the 'beauty
run' to the wreck of the 'Stella Maris' - pretty wild, the ship is a couple
of hundred feet long, or more, and you can turn all your lights out (at
around 500 feet) and still see the whole wreck, end to end. Clear
    water!
        If you're thinking about a
winter vacation, check out Curacao - great SCUBA diving too!
Tough life, this building of little submarines
    . . .
    Phil

      Hi all,
Some of you who were at convention may have
missed the posts on Phils new sub "Curacao"
      arriving at Sub Station Curacao.
Here's a youtube slide show of the
      arrival.

There are more pictures on the Sub station
      Curacao site.

Great looking sub, I think Curacao might be
NO 1 on my holiday destination wish list.
      Congratulations Phil on another great
      sub.
      Regards
  Alan
