Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Git Kraken

Hi Frank,
Git Kraken looks pretty spectacular in silver. Hope you think long &
hard about the paint job.
I came across these linear actuators that they use on satelite dishes.
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Motors/Actuators-PowerJack-Tracker..htm
They are too slow & long for dive plane & motor operation, but may have
another use like lifting the hatch or externally operating a drop weight system
or a periscopic camera (up to 36" stroke).
They have 3000 N lifting force wich I think is 1500kg & an adjustable stroke,
also they are designed for outside use. And at $50- you can't go wrong.
Alan.

Hi Guys. I made it to Florida and was only slightly late for the convention. Arrived in Daytona at 3 am Thursday, got a quick nap in, and headed out to Ft. Pierce.
Here's a couple pics of Git Kraken as we left Calif.
The convention was fun and very educational.
I just this hour got the computer hooked up and will post additional pictures etc. as soon as I can.
