The good news is, that the transfusion centers are only 60 miles apart, so know your blood type. :) Mosquitoes are environmental and time variable, morning and dusk are worst. Try going to Flamingo this time of year for some fishing in the glades and you are toast. Repellant works well. On the beach out in the sun, you wont see them except in the shade of trees. Local fishermen upon returning home from a day at sea found the harbors from which their boats operated from were no more and a sea of destruction and debris was all that remained.
