Pookie is notorious for making a mess and running through a couple "test runs" could present some insight on how best to get the results you want.

Here's another idea. If you got some 1/4 inch plexi and made the "window frame assembly" from that you could see through the plexi and see if bubbles are getting trapped in there and what ever else is happening in the tiny space where the sika is. A few scrap pieces of plexi sheet from the plastics store wouldn't cost much. Maybe $20 or less. Frank D.
