Hi Vance. YUP!!! Got the house almost ready to rent out, secured property
managers etc. New floors, appliances, and stuff.
Shelly quit her job and will be done by end of April. We're planning on
rolling out in early June ( YIKES! that soon ?)
Picked up a trailer for the sub yesterday, got a
big 'ole truck rented and it's full speed ahead, damn the torpedoes!
Looks like I may finally be able to buy you that lunch I've been
promising you.
I'll be bringing all my tools ( well, most of them
) so I can finish the sub there and if you need any help I'll be available. ( I
work for beer ) I need to get the garage wired for my welder. I'll be
bringing my Harley too so maybe you can show me around a bit. I'm thinking I
might need a pontoon boat or at least a nice motor boat for getting down to the
marina ( bar ) and as a surface support boat. I'd like to get back into scuba
since the water there is warm.
I'm looking forward to seeing you. Need any
help with the upcoming convention ? I heard Jon say the hotel has been
chosen. I've also heard you're working on a possible barge to use.
That would be nice if you can make it happen. I was definitely thinking on
renting a small dinghy for the convention dive day. Could be handy to
have with or without a barge. Maybe you could look into them for me. No big
deal as I'll be driving down to Ft. Pierce to check everything out before
the convention date. I'll be in touch with you when we get landed so we can
exchange phone numbers. I have a phone there now but it might change when I
set up internet and stuff.
