   At this time, it has little to do with submarines.
   In the future, I hope to use this to aid me in making passive hydrophones direction so the direction to detected passive sonar contacts can be determined...by small submerged submarines.

Alec,

Wrong ship, The Bismarck lays in very deep water in the North Atlantic.  Believe you are speaking of the Scharnhorst which was scuttled on its way out of Montevideo.  And yes I don’t know what this has to do with subs.

I must have missed an email. What is this about the Bismarck? The real Bismarck came to it's end in front of Montevideo and I used to pass it once a year during my childhood as we drove to our beach house. Each year it crumbled lower and lower until when I was in  my late teens it disappeared from view entirely.
