Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Sub Wheels..?
I suppose if you could get it to work, it would open up a number of
water access ramps that might otherwise be too shallow for a normal
trailer even with tongue extensions. It also seems like a local
solution unless the solid tires can perform similar to their tubeless
counterparts at highway speeds. If you were just going across town to
your dive site in city traffic, it might work. But highway towing is a
whole different consideration in which the tires have to have certain
characteristics for safe traveling. I notice the chart you included a
link to has certain ratings for 10 and 15 mph. I don't suspect those
tires are going to hold up to any considerable distance at highway speeds.

As always I am still brainstorming may parts of my intended Sub Design...

Has anyone integrated their trailer into their SUB? Putting road
wheels on the Sub and a detachable Drawbar?
This could make launching and recovery allot simpler, you could even
direct some hydraulic power to drive your wheels and Sub right out of
the water.
Now I understand there would be problems with normal road type (Air)
tyres at depth however there are may SOLID tyres available now with
many different harnesses and styles. or Example
