Hi Scot
You will have to make an extra thru hull in line with your 2 breathers depending on where u are going to locate your pods I moved mine 10'' aft . I made a step down sleeve of 316 ss, then I turned some UHMWPE insulating material to fit the sleeve with 2 O-ring grooves I made sure at either end I added1.5'' to be able to form a wall between my pos and neg lugs I also drilled 2 step down 6mm to 10mm holes through the UHMWPE which I turned to fit copper rods also with 2 O-rings. On either side I cut thread and fitted copper washes and brass nuts on both ends. The narrower bores are all on the pressure hull side incase of an explosion in the B Pods.I also plan on fitting fuses inside the pods.
I used a aluminum tool to lathe the UHMWPE it worked great .O ja to cut my inner O ring grooves I silver solded a parting tool tip to the end of a piece of key steel it also worked great .
I have tried to stick as much as possible to the K350's plans as its really been well thought out.
If you give me your e mail I can send you pics.
All the best
Glen

Subject: [PSUBS-MAILIST] battery pods
On the K-350 battery pods, where does the power actually go through? Is it one of the battery pod vents or is it thorugh somewhere else? I see Dan on Persistance looks like he added another through hull. Also how does the battery through hulls for charging work? the blue print only shows the pipe.
Thanks,
Scott Waters
