RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST]

Glad to hear of the upcoming trip. Hats off to you and your crew, and well done. The thought of these people continually comes to mind as I go about the routine of daily life sending the children off to school in the morning and such. It's heart warming to hear of you going.

I watched an episode of "monster quest" last night in which the presence of salt water sharks far inland in fresh water rivers was investigated.
I could not help but feel that the use of a small submarine would have extended the time of this search and provided the divers a much higher level of safety considering that which was being searched for.
In one instance, the person topside could see a very large shark with a small sonar scanner but was unable to inform the divers below of its presence. Due to the poor visibility and darkness of the water, the divers never new it was there even though it was but a feet away!
