http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/mwv/navrules/rules/Rule22.htm How high above the water line does a light need to be to be visible for 2
miles ?
Will we need a "mast " with a light on top that's bright enough to be seen
from 2 miles away in daylight ?
If we are operating our subs in a "confined" area, would marker buoys
placed around the area be sufficient ?
There was some mention of using a barge as our base of operations. I'm
trying to imagine what the dive site would look like on the surface.
An anchored barge, a couple of surface boats, a couple of motorized
dinghys, maybe some floating markers.
How far offshore are we going to be ?
Will we drive our subs out there ?
Will we need to get all our subs inspected by the CG before we launch them
?
Will our out-of-state registration numbers be valid in Florida or will we
have to register our boats in Florida ?
Whose bringing the beer.
Lots of questions.
