Not much. But look at commercially made battery boxes 9the kind used in ski boats or bass boats). They come in a couple of different sizes and are designed to contain spillage and isolate battery posts. Just stick your batteries in those and slide tem in. Cost you a couple of hundred bucks maybe, start to finish. And no stainless.

Thanks for the great tips guy's. I like the stainless steel battery tray idea but should also treat the bottom below it as mentioned. Does fiberglass resin react to battery acid?
