One further comment with regard to the proposed standard - this will 
constitute the first specific hardware standard adopted by PSUBS (as 
opposed to general hardware standards or operating procedures), 
correct?  In keeping with our recommendation to follow established 
design guidelines, this connector, and indeed any other proposed 
hardware standard (in contrast to individual or group-designed 
components which are not required by our standard), should consequently 
either have or be eligible for ABS, DNV or Lloyd's Type Approval, and in 
the case of electrical equipment like connectors, UL/CE/CSA rating as 
appropriate.  I presume that the proposed connector meets at least the 
latter, as it is a necessary condition for sale in the United States?
