Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] 2009 PSUBS Awards election is open for your votes

Hi All,

I really need to go with Franks analysis in it's entirety and could not say it any better.

Best regards,

Hi Jon, Ray and the psubs club.
I would like to nominate some folks for the awards.

The clear choice for the Kittredge award is the new KSS sub. Truly a beautiful and functional boat which raises the bar for all the potential sub builders in our group.
If possible to win two awards, it should also receive the "Link" award for their fantastic feat in Croatia.

For the Beach award I would like to nominate Jon and Ray together for the hard work they've done in promoting the personal submersible sport. Their tireless efforts in maintaining the psubs site, constantly improving the information and accessibility of the site, and maintaining an open forum with the highest standards has done more to advance our unique sport than anyone else on the planet, let alone in our small group.

For the Busby award, this is the hardest to make a choice, because so much good information has been made available this past year.
I think the most important work for the year has been Jay's continued efforts relating to safety and operational procedures. As we progress and grow as a group, safety has always been a major focus and will continue to be an integral part of  that growth and how we and our sport are perceived by the general public, associated industry, and regulatory agencies.

Thank you, Frank D.
