My 4 wheel friends took a toyota land cruiser and added a snorkel set-up years ago and did pretty much the same thing but not as deep. It was funny to see him hit the bank and roll the window down. Not really a submersible though, closer to a David boat, except not a boat. Fun to watch and looked like fun to do too.
