Message for Jim K. - finally got to use some
of that epoxy that you sent
me. I have used it for a ferro-cement
wood fired hot tub that I built last
year, I installed additional water
heating pipes in the incorporated cement
fireplace that heats the water.
This is very close to the same application
that I will use on my
sub so it will serve as instruction for that. The
epoxy is a 2 to 1
mix and it seems to adhere very well, I applied it on the
concrete area
that will see water. Also made a penetration and epoxied in
a one
inch pipe through the ferro cement for a drain plug. Very
gooie
stuff, but it sets up great, with the cab-o-sil that I added
it made it
very easy to position the gooped up piece of pipe into
place.
