You know, the 2010 meet would be wonderful if we could get several subs at the same time in really clear water. I don't know the logistics of it but the potential video footage would be mouth watering. Safety protocols notwithstanding, of course.

Yes Vancouver will be tough to beat especially after Phil’s fantastic support. Planning is well underway for next year’s conference to be held in Ft. Pierce, FL. Vance is working on sourcing a barge so that we can get some open ocean saltwater dive time. The hotel is just about finalized, we have identified outside speakers, have tentative promises from members for additional presentations, and started a line-up of member’s subs that will be attending.
I give the Chinese tinkerer credit for what he has accomplished with little available resources…he is real lucky to be alive after at least one of his early dive attempts.

Hi Jay,
Just happened to pop in again on you guys. I must say that from what I've seen from "my chair here" of the Vancouver meet, that it looks like it was the PSUBS equivalent of landing on the moon! How are you guys going to top that one?!
The one redeeming quality of the Chinese fellow's anemic efforts, is that it is indicative of a much changed world. Give this guy an "A" for his audacious spirit, and wonder what he might do with our level of opportunity and material availability. Otherwise, if he were located here in the good ole USA, I'd think him a fool.
