Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] co2 monitors

Hi Alan ,

The words cheap and life support system should probably not be used together. This is a system that can do any two gases and may meet ABS approval. Cheap is not the way to go when monitoring o2 and co2.

Hi Emile,
The measurement range on the ZG 106 is 0 - 3000ppm wich is 3%
the figure Nasa recommends as the highest short term exposure level.
The resolution is 1ppm up to 10ppm.
The accuracy is stated as + or - 50ppm wich is ...05%.
Has an alarm you can set too.

Alan,

Co2 monitor should measure at least 3 % or 30.000 ppm.

Hi all, especially Brent who doesn't seem to sleep at night.

Found this cheap CO2 monitor while sorting out my life support system.

I could only find one price US $62- & have a price inquiry in at the moment.

Thanks for the descriptions of how the acrylic conning tower was set up, Brent & Antoine.

Looks a lot cheaper & easier than a dome.

Alan
