For those of you who are following the progress of our sonar testing, Kyle reported having tested the collision avoidance sonar having reinstalled it aboard his boat "special k" on this past Friday the 21st following its repair. It was functioning as expected and the shock mounting used to secure the hydrophone worked so well at isolating this sensor that the motors aboard the submarine could not be detected. Regretably, no other crafts were in the lake at the time of testing as it was very cold and windy. He will attempt further testing once the weather is slightly warmer and other boat traffic is about.
