Jay, I do not know how experienced the divers were that these guys were using, but the body was eventually found snagged in an underwater tree remnant. This would have been a serious problem for any tethered ROV or submarine as the entire lake was formed by an earthen damn without removing the wooded area where the lake itself was formed. The fish seemed to like this idea. Nice information to know about...This purpose would not be my idea of a reason to go diving...yuck! Rescue divers if properly deployed will have a better chance in finding a body than the typical ambient or 1-atms. PSUB due to the fact that we have no navigation system. The divers can use line searches (divers spread out along a line swimming forward) or spiral searches using a rope to insure that 120% of the area is covered. Sidescan sonar would be the more proper resource to find a body. R/Jay
