I think a thru-hull plate that can be removed, changed, or what ever is a
great idea. Several subs have them now. If you ever plan on adding to the sub's
systems, like maybe adding a manipulator arm or adding things like lights,
video, and other stuff later,it makes a lot of sense. Frank
