Greetings Carl, Very interesting project your on. I second the request for pictures if at all possible. I like the idea of a Seehund replica. Are you using a stronger modern steel then was used for the originals? The Seehund replica I was pondering some time back, was only a look a like, with FRP conning tower fairings, and modern internal equipment and A516 GR70 steel main pressure hull. Then using the torpedoes as battery pods. Keep welding and grinding.
