Hi Dean. I can see having to drop a marker on top of a spot, so it's easier
to find when I come back for a better look or with some sort of specialty tool
to perform some task. The marker would need an anchor, a cable, and a buoy
painted a bright color or maybe even a light, so it will be easy to locate. The
dropping of the marker will make a slight difference in the overall weight of
the sub, depending on how much the anchor and cable weighed and how much the
buoy displaced that weight. could be as much as 20 pounds or so.
That means a few gallons of water in the VBT, and the ability to change it
while down there. Frank D.
