Hi All.

I've got a couple of choices for TIG welding wire.  I'll be using this to weld some of the stainless through hulls in.  In particular the vent through hulls and snorkel on the conning tower, which i stupidly didnt make before putting it on, so now have to weld out of position.

Any suggestions as to which woule be best?

LNT 309LHF A5.9: ER 309L 12072: W 23 12 L For welding stainless to carbon steel.Low suspectability to embrittlement. Minimum 18FN ferrite in weldmetal.

or

LNT 309LSi A5.9: ER 309LSi 12072: W 23 12 LSi For welding stainless steel to carbon steel.With high silicon content for improved wettability.
