I don't have a mig, my choices are between
tig and stick. Personally I'm using tig on almost everything these days. It's
way slower, but you also get a far superior result. It's also nice that the
process is clean, because all my work is inside a garage. If I were doing this
as a commercial endeavor and trying to put out the greatest amount of work in
the least time, I would no doubt use tig a lot less. But as this is a hobby, I
prefer to put in extra time and get an end result I'm really happy with. So what
can I say, tig is the method for anal retentive types like
myself!

My mig is only 200amp single phase do you think think this will be strong
enough? Or could I just tig the entire joint .
All the best.
