If you don t mind two questions:
-are the transparent fairings around the dome going to be water tight and fitted with a one way valve to evacuate the water when surfacing and effectively increasing freeboard? if yes, what sort of valve would you use? I was thinking perhaps the 'duck beak' tubes you find at the rear of some inflatable boats to could do the trick.
-the hatch assembly looks very slick, is the hatch glued to a flat or u-shaped steel ring? if it is a blown acrylic, did you cut the flange?
