I don't know if they still do it, but years ago (like 25), I went to a 
hardware trade show where WD-40 staff were demonstrating their product.  
They had a tank of water with electrical current running through it, and 
the salesman coated his arm with WD-40 then stuck it in the tank of 
water to demonstrate its insulating properties.
