Hi Vance, good ideas. I've always thought the skids on the K boats were a
little clumsy and prone to corrosion. Bolted on galvy pipe would be an
inexpensive and replaceable way to go. The wood skids sound good too and could
be added to the existing skids.
I've got some 2 inch bar stock left over from a project and plan on using
that for skids but the wooden idea has me thinking. Hmmmmm! Frank
