Frank, I was holding my breath that you would soon test out your console. You should indeed pick up whales and such as this bender type hydrophone was simular to the dolphin ear dipping hydrophone used for just this purpose aboard touring boats. I did not inquire as to your progress as I know life has us all so busy and I knew you would drag it out when the time was right. Good luck with your investigations and keep us posted. Work on my little sub continues, and I hope to hear from you and Les about the latest tests. My buddy with the boat is repairing his motor and hopefully will be able to take me out to try the one you sent me. I'm hoping to pick up sounds from whales or dolphins.
