Thanks Joe, I'm a newby and I appreciate any advice you guys can give.
I'm going to give IVCORP a call and see what type of valve they use in
their sportsub. Just to let you know, I'm a Respiratory Therapist and
was assigned to a hyperbaric unit for two of my 30 yrs in heath care..
If any of you have any questions about diving medicine or pulmonary
physiology related to hyperbaric
environments please let me know, I'd like to help,Thanks again Joe
Best Regards, Carlos

Hi Carlos,
I did a little ambient research several years ago. As I recall, a gate
valve
fouls rather easily and is slow to operate. A ball valve may dump your
cabin
air much too quickly if heavy handed.
I cannot recall, what IVC uses on the Sportsub (automatic pressure
regulated
poppet perhaps) but, whatever it is, I suspect that is what you should
consider the best candidate.
Good luck
Joe
