Hi Carlos, I did a little ambient research several years ago. As I recall, a gate valve fouls rather easily and is slow to operate. A ball valve may dump your cabin air much too quickly if heavy handed. I cannot recall, what IVC uses on the Sportsub (automatic pressure regulated poppet perhaps) but, whatever it is, I suspect that is what you should consider the best candidate.
