I recall reading one of the Ballantyne paperbacks on U-boats that came out in late 50s or early 60s that mentioned the Seahunds (or was it the Bibers?) made mail runs to some of the cutoff German fortresses after the D-Day Invasion of France. Did any of the German submariners write of their experiences?
