Hello Ray,
I was aware of most of the information you stated. But I didn't know Dale wasn't comfortable being underwater with his health troubles. He sure did a nice job on building Snoopy. It looks like Alec has been really enjoyed owning Snoopy. I'm sure I will learn a hell of a lot from refitting my K-250, as well as operating it. Those experiences will be very important in preparing to build my first scratch built sub. I never figured I'd own a canary yellow submarine, but it will be a lot of fun. People really get a kick out of it. I also never though I would own a classic VW Beatle. But if I'm to do it right, I figured I would need to tow the yellow submarine with a yellow VW Beatle. ;)' I'll have to find a 4X4 baja version in order for it to have enough power and weight to properly tow the sub. Karl Stanley was telling me, that he mixed two different yellow's together to get the color he wanted after his latest refit.
