I checked the iTX and didn't see CO2 listed as a sensor option. The price
for O2 alone is $1,285. For two sensors, the price is $1,535.

My apologies for coming into your conversation, however air quality
monitoring is part of what we do as a business.
If in the US I would look at an iTX gas detector from Industrial
Scientific and if in Europe I would look at a Draeger multiwarn.
Each are plug and play monitors.
Each will accept a CO2 senor for the sensitivity and range you seek as
well as an Oxygen sensor. The iTX has a particularly good long life
battery and each are very robust against humidity and temperature
changes to a point.
If your thinking batteries, there are also other suitable sensors
depending on the type of battery i.e. fugitive emissions.

I bought the elektuur-kit when it came out... built it, and realized it's
upper measuring limit (ie. of the actual sensor-element used) is only
0.3%
CO2.
For atmospheric control in a submarine I would rather se it go all the
way
up to, at least a 4% CO2 level.
But then the cost, and type of sensor technology is out of another
budget,
and a lot more expensive.
