Yes, I'm playing with that concept. Although my launch tube would be vertical.
I've elected for two one meter diameter hatches, one hatch enters the conning
tower, the other hatch comes up just behind the conning tower.
There idea it I can fit a tube in the second hatch and use it for diver lockout.
And I could change out the tube for an ROV lockout/deployment tube. Or have
no tube and more space. Maybe another tube for submarine to submarine docking
and transfer. Generally keep the submarine reconfigurable and flexible.
I'll put up some drawings soon.
