Hi Emile.

I was only "investigating" the testing, so we didnt discuss cost.  I bet it costs a fortune.  When im ready, i'll try the im an amateur "beg my way in" approach, you never know.

Ive seen pictures of the nemo chamber lurking somewhere on the internet.  Looks great but im not sure i like the idea of chopping off my battery pods to get it in!  Did they test Nemo in it?

We've got a stretch of water here that is 150 meters deep, so i could just dunk the sub in there.  Its a bit risky though if something goes wrong, plus they dumped tonnes of mines and bombs down there after the war....

What does such a test cost?

When too expensive , maybe ask team Nemo in Berlin (boah, Aberdeen is also
not in your neighbourhood) Their chamber is 1,45 in diameter and 4 meter
long; max depth 210 meter. That means for a K350 without battery pods.

Hi All.

I was just investigating places where hopefully one day i will be able to
test my sub.  The guy at the National Hyperbaric Centre in Aberdeen,
Scotland sent me info on their chamber in Aberdeen.

Chamber is 3 metres diameter by 8 metres long.  Max depth 1000 metres.

Ive got lots more info the guy sent me if anyone is interested.
