Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Newbie

That's what I'm thinking.  I left out the "...OR..." part.  I've seen other builder's sites that start out with pics of the main parts delivery and I thought from the org or local shop to plan specs?  Thanks Dan H.

Don,

There really isn't anyone offering K boat part as a kit, that I know of.  There may be someone familiar with the K boats that will make parts but there isn't an actual kit.  You could take your plans to a weld shop in your area and see what you can do locally.  Be forewarned, a lot of shops get scared away when you mention submarine.

All,

My name is Don and I am an engineer.  I recently ordered K350 plans and have been studying the plans and researching the web.  All my research indicates that the major parts of the sub (pressure hull, conning tower, battery pods, etc.) can be ordered like a kit?  Thanks in advance.
