Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Hi Vance - any idear what this is ?

Hi Phil, many thinks happen the last time.

- Sgt.Peppers make a wet pressure dock test to 215 meter (700 feet)
at Reinhards Küsters Nemo test dock facility in Berlin.

- Emile is now with 10% partly owner of the Euronaut, but
Sgt.Pepppers is 100% back to me. And still in opertion status.
Was in the water 14 days ago in Kopenhagen during the great launching party of UC3.

- I just working on to integrate Euronaut and Peppers via a tools-and spare-parts-truck to one project. The truck will later mainly the Euronaut harbour tender with all spares for the boat, but also with living accomodation for the exchange-crew and with additional diesel tanks to refuel the submarine.

The idear behind is to reduce and concentrate my fleet of old vessels.
The lorry is later my motorhome, Peppers carrier, Motorbike carrier and Euronaut Harbour tools and spare parts carrier. My old motorhome will go for canabalize parts and scrapping.
With the old motorhome gone and Peppers and the Euronaut spare parts inside the truck I get back some space on my homeground.

Pictures are at WWW.Euronaut.org than: "The sub" than "accesosory".

The last three pictures shows the lorry with the crane to launch
the mini sub but also to exchange the oxygen and helium bottles
of the Euronaut. Crane will be electric driven.

Will be also use later to exchange the Euronauts main battery
- the first set is second hand.. 6,5 ts of batterys.

We have a new beautiful side scan sonar and found a complete MIG 17
and parts of a Avro Lancaster with it :-)
The Humminbird 997C is a great unit and cheap.

Hope to launch Euronaut in the next 12 month. But will be a hard race still some 1337 work hours to do on the Euroaut and some 207 hours on the truck. Also some 34 hours on Peppers for smaller items and a new battery tank for a better battery technology.

I quit just my job on the steel/aluminium megayacht building yard after 16 years and change to a smaller yard building highend tenders for megayachts in epoxy and carbon as executive manager. First job will be to learn the 3D-CAD world and 3D-CAM to make my boats design
of fast gliders direct to the new 30 feet long 3axis mills.

So if you later need GRP parts for your subs and diveunits - call for a quotation.. :-)

Was the Curacao sub ever operational and usefull?

See you submadman, wild work horse Carsten
