SPECIAL MEALS ! ! !

We have two meals that we would like you to attend with us, which will be
prepared and served by the college food service staff.
The first is a BBQ that includes Chicken, Hamburgers, Hotdogs: cole slaw,
baked beans, potato salad, corn on the cob, assorted cookies, watermelon,
bottled beverages (juice, soda, water), coffee and tea, and all necessary
condiments and accessories.
The second meal is a Maine Lobster Bake that should be lots of fun. Any
land-lubbers in the group can choose steak instead of lobster. The meal
includes 1-1/2# lobster with steamers and mussels OR grilled sirloin steak
with grilled kielbasa; peppers and onions, clam chowder, corn on the cob,
baked potato, tossed salad, rolls and butter, cookies and watermelon,
bottled beverages (juice, soda, water) and coffee, tea.
Yummy! Let's hope our pilots can fit through the conning tower of their
subs after meals like these! (Someone bring a can-opener just in case)

Yes, George Kittredge will be at the convention. He will make a
presentation about his life in general and submarines in particular
including Kittredge Industries, development of the K250 and K350, and of
course his latest project the UEM (green powered submersible). We will
celebrate George's 90th birthday with cake, and induct George into the
PSUBS
HALL OF FAME.
Andy Goldstein of Desert Star Systems has confirmed his attendance and
will
be speaking about his company and applications of their products in
personal
submersibles. Andy will be bringing both the Scout and Sport Underwater
Homing systems with him for inspection, demonstration, and testing.
Additionally, Desert Star Systems will be giving away a DiveTracker Scout
Underwater Homing System ( See
http://www.desertstar.com/newsite/sport/sportscout2.html ) to one lucky
psubber in attendance.
David Bartsch will be sending his latest hydrophone and sonar project work
for inspection, demonstration and testing. ( See
