Hi Scott. Nice to hear you're starting a sub. That's an exciting time. I'm
having a blast building mine, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the task as much as we
all do.
Do you have a set of ''K'' plans? The only thing I'd change is the
thickness. A little more steel is cheap and the depth increase can't hurt.
I'd be careful on shortening the tower. George K. made a lot of subs,
and his design has been used on several more. Its got a good track record. The
tower needs to be high enough for the unexpected.
