I think you are correct. At least those are the issues I'm
concerned about. Avoiding the ring snapping (oh dear that
would be bad), or the stress on the outer (vertical part
of the L cross section) causing the inner (horizontal part
of the L cross section) surface to deform and cause stress
points on the Acryilic.
If you find it in your book, let me know which book you are
using and I'll buy a copy.
Over the years I've spend so much on books and standards, and
still don't feel I have a complete library by an stretch.
Even if it was kind of expensive, being able to buy these
in a bundle (or something, maybe a series) would have been
very useful and probably saved me money.
