Hi Dean. I'm still building mine so can't guarantee this,
but I've been told by several people that tiny bubbles cling to the inside
of a plexi fairing. I've been struggling with the shape of my front ballast
tank/fairing because I want to protect the window and make the front as sleek as
possible. Mostly for surface travel.
Maybe we could put a small tube that squirts water onto the plexi and blow
the bubbles away once submerged or have some type of windshield wiper to push
them off.
Maybe wiping it with that ''rain-X'' stuff would work.
Doesn't seem too complicated but the jury is still out on this one.
Have you seen my newest pictures ? Here's a link to frappr with some. I'm
building the foam shape for my rear fairing now, and will start the front
structure soon. I have designed the front so I can add a piece of 1 inch plexi
if I ever get the bubble thing resolved.
Here's the link to my pictures.
Have you got any new pictures ?
Did you get the info about the concrete sub coming here from Will in
Columbia ? Sounds really nice.
