Nice to meet another norwegian - for me, too... and you asked me do I have
a project going?

No, I have not started welding on anything yet, but I'm working on it. In
the meantime, I have started building the various sub-systems that is
needed within a submarine.

Right now I am assembling (ready for testing) an all brass "fore n'aft
trim indicator" inspired by the ones used in german submarines. My next
project (partly started) is to make a functional replica (in brass) of the
german Papenberg precision depth gauge (used down to about approx. 20
meters).

And whenever it's too cold in the "mechanical dept", I just withdraw
inside and pick up some experimental work on a simple underwater
communication system.
