I do not wish to dwell on this subject too long, but with so many failed attempts to run drugs aboard these "boats", I cant help but feel that a few do get by. Why else would these people continue to attempt this method so many times. I
wonder if these vessels are simular one from another.

I also agree. Just because it can dive, does not make it a submarine.
