Hi guys. I know absolutely nothing about radios, but I did have a few
thoughts. Whales can communicate vast distances, using very low frequency
sounds. Would it be possible to have a computer change voice into low frequency
transmissions, and then have a microphone pick up the sounds, and another
computer turn it back into voice ? Wouldn't it be good to be able to talk with
someone 25 miles away while submerged ? Whales do it !   Seems like a
bright programmer would be able to write up a software program that could do
this, and put it on a disk that we could load on a lap top, hook up an
underwater speaker and microphone, and everyone would be able to talk to each
other while submerged or on the surface. Frank D. |
