I think standard marine band radio's is a good idea. For myself it was a requirement.
I will be prowling around the depths of Lake Superior, and saftey if no other reason I
would want to communicate if required with other craft. That and I think it would not
hurt on the governing ourselves. The closer we follow the norm the better we will be
looked at.
