Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Additional Viewports.

Hi James

I am building a K-350 on the Big Island and saw no need for a viewport back aft and wanted to re locate it up foreword for better use. I moved it up to where John's is but one frame foreword of his and added another two at 10 and 2 o'clock as well for viewing upwards if wall diving. Before I did it though, I consulted Capt. Ketteredge to make sure I wasn't compromising the design and he told me that as long as I replace the amount of metal I remove from the hull with the same amount or more in the form of the viewport ring, I would be OK. John Farrington did a heck of a good job documenting the fabrication process but has seemed to disappear. I have tried contacting them both on the email addresses they have listed but have never received a reply. Any one know of their whereabouts?

Rick

Hi All.

John Farrington put 2 extra viewports on his K350. You can see them in this picture.

They are not in the plans and must be an addition of his own.

What do people think about that idea?

James
